I had the salmon burger and the chowder. Both were wonderful

Very nice food, fast and friendly service

It really is just a spot! In a place smaller than a container but barely bigger than a Ford F250 these girls whip up a limited set of ground salmon dishes from fish that were likely in the ocean just the day before.While super fresh an oh so tasty, I would have asked for my salmon burger without the cheese - my taste buds prefer their fish without cheese, hence my virgin tuna melts sans cheddar...The baby salmon cakes are highly recommended, the burger fantastic (grab a heap of napkins from the stash under the umbrellas, you'll thank me later), the chowder ok, skip the make-it-yourself soft serve as twirling the perfect scoop is a lot harder than it looks and the ice cream softer than you want it - lick fast.

Terrible taste. Presentation is decent, service fast. But the burger tastes like it had spent a very long time in the fridge or a barrel. Clearly not the best spot to taste salmon in Juneau. And for 14 dollars you can eat smth else 4 sure. Somewhere else.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! I came by here the otherday. There were three young ladies working. NONE of them acknowledge me, one even came out of the booth and walked right past me TWICE and DIDN'T say a word! I was standing there for about 10 minutes just watching them converse with each other while IGNORING me! This sort of behavior tells me that you don't want and or need my money. So I went to somewhere that did!I will NOT be referring ANYONE else over to this place!UPDATE:The owner reached out to me and was very apologetic and said that he would speak to his staff. He also allowed me to come in for a free meal on him and I really appreciate that because it shows that he cares and sadly not enough people who own or manage a business care when a customer has a bad experience. So I would definitely return and recommend people.

There is no better salmon burgers or salmon cakes.

Amazing salmon cakes and a fryer that only has fries. The guys were familiar with gluten, Celiac, and what I should avoid. Didn’t get to try the sauce because of that, but I didn’t mind. It was a great little spot!

Salmon spot is awesome. Everything on the menu is tasty (the salmon burger is my favorite), the service is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. One of the best places in Juneau to get a quick meal.

Absolutely the best food in all of Juneau. Do not waste your time with anything else in Juneau. I wish I knew how to make their food down in the lower 48. The salmon cakes were the best. Really everything at this place is the best.

Delicious salmon cake. I really love the brown sauce that comes with it. Good salmon chowder. Very reasonably price compare to other food establishment in Alaska. If you are in a hurry or not care about the full service restaurant, this is the place. Only few step away from the Red Dog Saloon and 5 min walk from the cruise ship shuttle or the base of Mount Roberts Tramway.

Great place to come taste their salmon: cakes USD 5 (best taste & value), chowder USD 5.95, burger USD 9.95. Quality I can taste, succulent, dripping, flavorful. I like the salmon cakes best, with maple garlic sauce, you two pieces for USD 5. They use the same mixture for the cakes and burger, using a scoop to place it on a Panini press, a few minutes later, it's ready to pickup for outside seat dining there or take away. I placed images for their burger and cakes on Instagram.The supporting infrastructure meaning the bun and roll are only fair, ask if they will substitute a lettuce or spinach leaves in place of their bun. Coffee also was only fair.Open May 15-September 25 1100-1800 when windows are open or when cruise ships are in. Highly recommended still for their salmon here.

Super friendly staff! AMAZING food!! This is probably one of the things I miss most about my time in Alaska. You can't go to Juneau without trying their food!

Ok. Food was decent. Seating is all outside. Looked people hung out there even if they weren't eating. Salmon cakes were a bit salty. Burger was good. Chowder had good chunks of salmon in it.

Don’t let the size of the place fool you. The salmon burger is the best I’ve had yet. Prices are reasonable. You can watch the cruiseship and people watch as you eat

without question one of the best teriyaki salmon sandwiches I've ever had. For a small spot they've got huge flavor. If you're in Juneau Alaska and you don't stop here for a bite you have missed out. Highly recommended with five stars plus an additional five for flavor.

I work on cruise ships, and I stop here every week. This is the BEST salmon cakes and salmon burger I have ever eaten. The prices are great. Top of "my favorite" food stops in the world...tell them Sunshine sent you!

As a lifelong Alaskan, this is some of the best salmon you'll ever have! The salmon burger with the chowder is incredible. I went back many times because I couldn't get enough. And salmon at this price is a steal!

After a restaurant around the corner ran at out salmon and crab before our ship boarding time, we walked over for salmon cakes and burger. It was delicious, quick, very affordable, and super friendly staff. Can't ask for anything else.

Don't be fooled by the low prices: this might be the best Salmon in town. Fast, friendly, made fresh. Wish we had come here first off the boat!

This place is wonderful. Great prices, excellent product. We tried one of everything. Everything was very good. The salmon burger was very flavorful and tender. The salmon patties are the perfect size and come with an amazing sauce, and the chowder tastes great and is probably perfect for a chilly day. The owners are friendly and local. I highly recommend the burger!
